United Way of Story County Seeks Part-Time Finance Assistant
United Way of Story County is seeking a part-time employee to maintain financial and campaign records, manage donor database and perform basic accounting tasks.
Experience in donor management database is required. Knowledge of The Raiser’s Edge is preferred. Applicant must have basic clerical skills and strong computer skills, especially Word and Excel.

UWSC Provides Funding for Safety Item for Family Development Program
United Way of Story County (UWSC) awarded a $2,000 grant for safety items for the Family Development program at Youth and Shelter Services (YSS). Three programs provided by YSS fall under the umbrella of Family Development. FaDSS (Family Development and Self-Sufficiency), an in-home family development program, offers services to families headed by a person 25 years or younger who is receiving Family Investment Program (FIP) benefits. Michelle Fullerton, representing US Bank in Nevada, presented a check to Jean Kresse, President and CEO of United Way of Story County (UWSC) for $5,500 for the annual LIVE UNITED campaign. The funds were a gift from the US Bank Foundation.
